Susan Elizabeth Brown - Soprano

Soprano Susan Elizabeth Brown debuted as Mimi with Pellegrini Opera in La Boheme in 2015; she has since sung Adina in Elisir D'amore (Opera Inside Out) and Gilda in Rigoletto (Pellegrini Opera). Jeunesse Musicale's Don Giovanni tour marks her debut in the role of Donna Anna. She participated in the National Arts Centre Young Artist Program in June, 2017, with Canadian baritone Russell Braun. Oratorio performances have included Pergolesi's Stabat Mater in the Southminster United concert series in Ottawa in April, 2017. She performed the solos in both Faure's Requiem and Carmina Burana with The Rideau Chorale, as well as Carmina Burana solos alongside internationally acclaimed counter-tenor, Daniel Taylor, with The Ottawa Choral Society in 2016. Internationally, she has performed in the Celtic Connections festival at the Royal Glasgow Concert Hall in 2016, and at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast in 2017.
